PREGUNTAS CON RESPUESTAS 2026 (IV)

I would say, in order to motivate the students, the most importnat thing is to link the content to their reality and personal interest. In adition, i would promote a safe environment in the classroom, where students can tell their opinions, participate and search without fear. That is fundamental. For instance, if we have a learning situation about plants and their clasification in the Middle School, I would suggest they search about the plants of a near garden or park. Thus, they could clasificate the plants they find and discover how that is related with the contents they are learning in the classroom.
2. What added value do you think it has for a student to enrol in a Spanish section?
Enrolling in a Spanish section offers significant added value, both academically and personally.
First, it allows students to achieve a high level of proficiency in Spanish, which is an essential skill in an increasingly globalised world. Bilingualism enhances cognitive development, communication skills, and future employability.
In addition, studying subjects through Spanish provides an intercultural dimension. Students gain a deeper understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures, traditions, and perspectives, which fosters open-mindedness, tolerance, and global awareness.
A Spanish section also broadens academic and professional opportunities. It can facilitate access to international university programmes, scholarships, and careers in fields such as education, diplomacy, business, and tourism.
Finally, it helps students develop key transversal competences, such as adaptability, critical thinking, and confidence in multicultural environments.
In short, it is an enriching educational experience that prepares students to grow in an interconnected world.
